According to sources close to the matter, Atlee has been discussing the project with both actors for the past several months and things look promising, reports Pinkvilla. “It is a two-hero film that requires the presence of a real superstar,” a source told PTI. “Both Kamal Haasan and Salman Khan are excited about the idea and the potential collaboration. They have said yes in principle, but the paperwork will be finalised once the entire story is narrated later this month.”

Talking to these two megastars is a big step in that direction.” The source further added that Atlee aims to begin filming early next year, making it a much-anticipated project for both the actors and fans of action thrillers.
Sources say Atlee is envisioning a film that will showcase Indian cinema on a global platform, transcending regional boundaries. Details about the film's plot and character sketches are still kept under wraps. However, sources have hinted at a story that will appeal to global audiences.
However, more than a week ago, Bollywood Hungama As per reports, Atlee Kumar is also in talks with Rajinikanth. “Sun Pictures will produce the film and they have a family relation with superstar Rajinikanth. Atlee, on the other hand, has been in touch with Salman Khan for the past two years. He is confident of bringing both Rajinikanth and Salman Khan together,” a trade source told us.
The film has not been given a title yet but the makers want to take it on the floors by the end of 2024. Only time will tell which South superstar will agree to do a two-hero project.
