There is a good chance that you Relying on Bluetooth There's more to it than you might think, even if you take wireless communication protocols for granted – and Bluetooth 6.0 is now official, bringing with it a number of important new improvements.
official announcement From the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG), which includes Intel, AppleAnd Google As members, here are some highlights of the upgrades we can expect once Bluetooth 6.0 devices arrive.
There's been a big emphasis on improving filtering and efficiency, so that Bluetooth devices only communicate with each other when they need to, and don't transmit any unnecessary data. This should reduce the demand on a device's battery life.
More efficient transmission should also mean faster transfer speeds, even if the core Bluetooth speed remains unchanged. Potentially, this means that devices such as Best fitness tracker Sync and update should happen faster than before.

The most notable new feature in the Bluetooth 6.0 specification is called Channel Sounding, and it means two Bluetooth 6.0 devices will be better able to detect the distance between them over a wider area, and up to one centimeter (about 0.4 inches).
This means that the 'Find My Device' services, operated by Apple, SamsungGoogle, Tile and other gadgets should become more accurate and sensitive across a wide range of devices. Improved wireless technology could also help with tasks like unlocking cars and smart locks.
Apple's Find My service currently uses ultra-wideband (UWB) technology to locate some devices, including AirTags and the latest iPhones, with a high level of accuracy – but Bluetooth 6.0 will expand this to a much greater range of hardware.
There's no information yet on when Bluetooth 6.0 will come to devices, as it's up to device manufacturers like Apple and Samsung to work on incorporating the standard into their hardware.
