Acclaimed filmmaker Vishnuvardhan is making his comeback to Tamil cinema with this project. Known for his compelling storytelling and cinematic vision, Vishnuvardhan's return is eagerly awaited.
The film also stars Akash Murali, who is playing a lead role for the first time, while Aditi Shankar plays the female lead. Meanwhile, Kalki is also busy shooting for her international film 'Her Story', which is being shot in Antichan-des-Frotignes in the Pyrenees.
In 'Her Story', she plays a self-deprecating American writer. Talking about her role, Kalki had earlier told IANS: “Olivia is a New York intellectual with roots in France, who returns to write her grandmother's story. She finds herself half living in the past and half predicting the future as the Covid pandemic grips the world.”
She further explained that the film is a comedy about how patterns can be read from practically anything and how we believe ourselves to be somehow responsible for the way the world works. She added, “The challenge of playing a self-deprecating American writer who begins to feel that she is affecting the world around her with every word she says is fun and challenging.”
