On Monday, Shatrughan Sinha took to social media platform Twitter to share some pictures from the World Cup match played on Sunday. It seems that the actor is still admitted in the hospital for treatment of his high fever, but it seems that his condition is improving now. Along with the pictures, he also wrote a note, “Away from the 'controversy and confusion' created by some of our good friends of social media/YouTubers. The truth is that we are enjoying it with our family members, brothers and dear friends.”

Speaking further about the pictures, the actor-turned-politician Sinha was seen with his wife Poonam Sinha and a few others who accompanied him during the finale. Appreciating some of the key players in the match including Virat Kohli, team captain Rohit Sharma, other strong performers like Jasprit Bumrah, Surya Kumar Yadav and Hardik Pandya, Sinha further added, “Enjoying the most talked about International Cricket match between #SouthAfrica and #India. It was great to see the 'hero' of not only our dear #AnushkaSharma but also the country's hero #ViratKohli. It was a treat to watch the brilliant performance of #JaspritBumrah #HardikPandya #SuryaKumarYadav and of course everyone's favourite, and probably the one and only #RohitSharma.”
